In the villages surrounding Jaipur, suzani embroidery has long been a language passed between women — mothers to daughters, needle to cloth. This jacket carries that lineage forward, its orchid-pink cotton canvas transformed into a garden of pomegranates and vines, each stitch a small act of devotion.
At the heart of the back panel blooms a large rosette medallion — olive-green petals radiating around a black floral core, ringed in slate blue. Scattered across the shoulders and sleeves, pomegranate motifs alternate in solid black and moss green, split by delicate seed-like centers. Feathery leaf-and-vine tendrils in dusty teal wind between them, echoing the scrolling botanicals found in antique Uzbek suzanis, reinterpreted here on soft, breathable cotton.
Left unlined and finished with a structured collar, the jacket sits with a relaxed, boxy ease — easy to layer, impossible to overlook. No two are stitched exactly alike, each one bearing the small irregularities of the artisan's hand.
