The natural cream base is completely covered in a dense hand block-printed arabesque: large ogee arches filled with scrollwork and fleur-de-lis motifs, the pattern repeating seamlessly across the front panels, sleeves, and back. The hem carries a contrasting diamond grid border that grounds the composition. Jet black on natural cream — the most graphic, the most timeless of colour combinations.

The quilted construction gives the jacket warmth and substance. The clean white binding at the collar and front edges and the two patch pockets with their white piping add precision to a jacket that is simultaneously maximalist in surface and minimalist in colour.
