Marigolds are the flower of Jaipur — piled in temple offerings, strung in wedding garlands, sold by the kilo in the flower market at dawn. The Bagh Jacket in Marigold Block takes this abundance and puts it on cotton: a dense, all-over hand block-printed floral of tightly packed marigold and rose blooms in mustard-gold and black on natural cream.

The print is rich and close — flowers touching flowers, leaves filling every gap — with a bold geometric diamond-and-stripe border at the hem that frames the composition with precision. The mustard-gold binding at the collar, front opening, and pockets picks up the warmth of the print.

The plain khadi inner lining — visible when the jacket is worn open — is its own quiet pleasure: warm, slightly rough, the colour of undyed cloth. The construction is double-layer, giving the jacket substance and warmth without heaviness.
