Each block — a marigold bud, a paisley leaf, a many-petalled rosette — is dipped by hand and pressed with the printer's full body weight, one motif at a time, until a length of fabric becomes a field of repeating blooms.

This set of three nesting pouches carries that same hand-pressed rhythm. The largest unfolds in brick red grounded with indigo florals and jade-green foliage; the middle sits in ivory scattered with marigold bellflowers and cobalt medallions; the smallest wraps in deep indigo, its white buti scattered like stars across a night sky. A fine Kantha-style running stitch quilts each layer of cotton, giving the pouches their soft, padded structure and a texture that only hand-stitching can leave behind.
