Along the ancient trade routes that once carried silk and spice between Samarkand and Sindh, artisans exchanged not only goods but grammar — a shared visual language of spiraling vines and full-faced flowers that still lives in the hands of Jaipur's embroiderers today. This jacket is a continuation of that conversation.
Worked entirely by hand onto a warm brick-red cotton ground, the embroidery unfolds in the Suzani tradition — dense, unhurried, deliberate. Chrysanthemum-like blooms the size of a fist anchor sprawling vines, their petals rendered in a dusty periwinkle blue that softens against the terracotta base. Serrated leaves and curling tendrils connect each motif in an unbroken botanical rhythm, covering almost every centimeter of fabric. The interior is lined in a deep magenta silk, a quiet flourish visible only to the wearer.
Cropped and open-fronted, with short sleeves and a relaxed silhouette, this jacket sits as comfortably over a cotton kurta as it does over a white tee. It is the kind of piece that does not ask permission — it simply arrives, fully formed, and refuses to be ordinary.
