In the walled workshops of Jaipur, where old motifs are passed down like family recipes, this jacket began as a memory of Rajasthani hunting tapestries — the kind where elephants once processed through royal gardens, stitched onto cloth for court and courtyard alike. Here, that lineage is reimagined in a shade of pink too bold to ignore.

Six elephants — two pairs in deep indigo, one pair in sky blue — march across the fuchsia cotton ground, their bodies outlined in crisp white chain stitch, hearts of orange and cornflower blue marking their flanks like painted temple elephants. Around them, black fishbone-stitched vines climb the back and sleeves in dense, feathery branches, punctuated by tiny orange and cerulean blossoms rendered in French knots and lazy daisy stitch. A grey chain-stitch vine threads through the composition like a river finding its course, while the collar and hem are finished with a wave of white and grey running stitch — a quiet border to a loud, joyful field.

Cut with a relaxed, boxy silhouette and a stand collar that folds softly at the neck, this jacket is built for layering and for standing out. Every knot and outline was worked by hand, meaning no two elephants are quite identical — a small imperfection that is, in truth, the whole point.
