The Garden of Ferghana jacket is rooted in that same imagination: a herringbone-woven cotton ground, quiet as undyed wool, becomes the earth from which an entire embroidered landscape grows.

The back is a full composition: thistle-like blooms in deep burgundy and soft mauve fan open at the centre, their petals worked in dense satin stitch. Dark forest-green branches extend outward in branching fronds, each leaf carefully outlined in a slightly different tone. Coral-red birds and comma-shaped paisleys dart between the foliage, while amber-gold tendrils spiral across the ground in fine chain stitch. A border of terracotta running stitch and scattered violet floral medallions frames the hem and collar — the classical grammar of suzani composition translated into Rajasthani hands.
