The Gulbadan Blue — Hand-Embroidered Suzani Velvet Jacket

Some colours carry entire worlds within them. Blue — in all its moods — has long been the colour of depth, dreams, and wandering skies. The Gulbadan Blue collection is our tribute to this spectrum: five hand-selected velvet shades, each embroidered individually by artisan hands in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

The embroidery technique is rooted in the Central Asian Suzani tradition — dense floral blooms, botanical vines, and fan-shaped motifs worked in silk-like threads across the velvet surface. No twoo jackets are identical. Each is made by an artisan who has learned this craft from the generation before them.

Choose from Royal Blue (vibrant multi-colour), Navy Blue (muted earthy tones), Cobalt Blue (bold orange-green contrast), Sky/Powder Blue (gentle rust and charcoal), or Denim/Slate Blue (rich red and mustard palette). Wear it over a white kurta, a linen dress, or your favourite jeans — the blue does the rest.
