Worked entirely in chain-stitch embroidery on deep crimson velvet, the surface of this jacket is a living tapestry. Large fan-shaped blooms — rendered in warm terracotta, dusty copper, and slate blue — rise from sinuous ivory stems that branch into feathered leaves across every panel. Smaller four-petalled blossoms scatter between them in muted teal and rust, while the collar and hem are bordered with a tight scrolling vine in cream and gold. The front placket carries its own vertical garden, framed like an illuminated manuscript margin. No two jackets are identical — the hand that stitched yours left its own quiet mark.
