Worked on handwoven ivory cotton, sprays of turquoise and indigo flowers rise in loose, painterly clusters across the chest and hem, each petal outlined in deep navy thread for depth. A running herringbone stitch in inky blue traces the placket and edges, framing the garment like the border of an antique textile.
