Chain-stitched in wool and cotton thread, the jacket blooms with stylized marigold and tulip motifs — deep burgundy petals fringed in marigold-orange, rising on slate-grey stems edged with mustard-gold leaves. A vining border of golden trefoils and rust-orange blossoms traces the collar, cuffs, and hem, framing the piece the way old suzani hangings once framed a room. Beneath, a crimson-and-white striped cotton lining peeks through the open front, a quiet nod to the artisan's hand in every unseen seam.
