The ochre-yellow ground blooms with pink kaner flowers and trailing indigo vines, rendered in the fine running stitch of Kantha work — rows of tiny, deliberate stitches that hold together three layers of soft cotton. Cream-and-brown striped rope handles, hand-twisted, frame each piece like a border on an old dowry cloth. The set includes one oversized tote and three nesting pouches, each cut from the same length of hand-blocked fabric, so no two motifs repeat exactly.
