This jacket carries that inheritance forward, its espresso-brown velvet grounding a garden of motifs that migrated across trade routes into the embroidery houses of Jaipur.

Across the back, a central medallion unfurls like a watchful eye — concentric rings of sky blue and deep maroon stitched in dense chain work. Around it, sky-blue paisleys with maroon vein-work lean like wind-bent leaves, while burnt-orange triangles dotted in maroon recall talismans stitched to ward off harm. Cream tendrils curl and scroll beneath, tracing the vine work classic to Suzani textiles, punctuated by strawberry motifs, marigold hearts, and tulip-shaped blooms in rust, wine, and ochre. A border of sky-blue hearts lines the hem; a leaf trim in orange and magenta frames the collar.
