The electric fuchsia velvet base carries dramatic white-outlined pomegranate forms bursting open with deep green botanical interiors, dark medallion sunflowers at the hem and sleeves, and delicate scattered florals connecting the larger motifs in an unbroken suzani field. The embroidery covers the jacket entirely — front, back, collar, sleeves — nothing is left bare.
The pomegranate is one of the oldest symbols in suzani embroidery — a motif of abundance, fertility and protection carried across Central Asia for centuries. Here it is reborn in the boldest possible palette: fuchsia, white and forest green, lined with a pink and white stripe that completes the composition from the inside out.
