In the walled bazaars of old Samarkand, Suzani textiles were once stitched by brides-to-be — each flower a wish, each vine a blessing for the home she was building. This jacket carries that same spirit forward, reimagined by artisan hands in Jaipur onto a canvas of deep orchid cotton.

Bold cross-shaped blossoms bloom across the body in cornflower blue and citron yellow, their centers stitched tight in chain stitch, petals outlined like stained glass. Trailing coral vines connect each flower to the next, while slender burgundy fern fronds rise vertically along the front placket and collar — a nod to the cypress-and-vine borders found in antique Bukhara embroidery. The palette is unapologetic: magenta ground, sky blue, mustard, tangerine, and wine, all worked entirely by hand in wool-thread chain and satin stitch.

Cut in a relaxed, boxy silhouette with a structured collar, this jacket layers easily over kurtas or plain separates.
