The deep aubergine cotton ground is a canvas the artisans of Jaipur have turned into a field of bloom, stitch by stitch, in the old Suzani tradition passed down through generations of needle-workers.
Cobalt blue starbursts with burnt-orange centers anchor the shoulders, while coral-red tulips climb the lapels like flames caught mid-flicker. Lilac paisleys curl beside dusty-pink carnations, and olive-green vines stitch it all together in looping chain-stitch tendrils — a palette pulled straight from the dye-pots of old Rajasthan and the floral lexicons of Central Asian textile heritage. The reverse opens into a crisp brown-and-white striped cotton lining, a quiet contrast to the riot up front, finished with a long self-tie sash embroidered with its own trail of red blossoms.
