Our artisans hand-embroider each wing in deep crimson and maroon chain-stitch, rimmed in a bright turquoise edge, with slender orange antennae that seem to quiver mid-flight. Around them, ruby-red and wine-dark daisy blossoms open on trailing olive-green vines — a suzani garden rendered entirely in needle and wool thread, no two petals stitched quite alike.
